This is the best-known cave in the area, an enchanted underground world created by the patient work of water over 600 million years. The cave, where the karst process is still active, consists of several chambers, each distinguished by spectacular concretions, stalagmites, stalactites, aragonites, flowstones and the spectacular eccentric concretions which make this cave unique in the world. The temperature is constantly 16°C with humidity approaching 100%; the route open to visitors is about 500 m long.
